Milk Room

The milk room
from the Phi Pledge Class is a small room next to the main dining room
in our main house. Due to wear over the years the room had to be
renovated. As a result, the floor and sub-floor was replaced as well as
some of the drywall and all of the trim. Also, the window trim was
removed and replaced. The cast iron sink present was moved and cabinets
and shelving were installed for use. |
Poker
Table

The poker
table from the Upsilon Pledge Class contains a great deal of
craftsmanship through woodwork and structure. It seats eight players and
Features red felted playing surface, built in chip holders and brass cup
holders. |
Entertainment Center
Status: Done
Pledge class: Psi |
The
entertainment center was the chosen project by the Psi Pledge class. It
has made significant progress during various visits during the summer.
The project will feature lockable doors and will likely reside in the
lounge area of the basement of the Chi. |
Library
Status: Done |
Chi Phi's
collection of books and study material has always been pretty diverse,
but only recently has it all been organized into an easy-to-use library. |
Annex Roof
Status: Done |
The slate on
the annex roof is in need of repair due to some of the harsh winters we
have been experiencing. Limitations on this project are finances and
finding someone who is actually willing to take the job. |

brand spankin' new version of the Theta Chapter website has gone live. |
Removing the
Tree
Status: Done |
During this
work week we took down the large pine tree on the corner of
15th and Sage. The tree was about half dead, hid the natural beauty of
our house from the rest of campus, and was harmful to our lawn. |
Fixing the Stairs

Over winter break, the old purple
rug was removed from the stairway, and the whole main stairway
was ripped, replaced and stained. Now the main entrance looks
much more classy. And we know a thing or two about class.

Server Closet

With many additions and upgrades to
the house network, the server room needed to be fixed up a little. The space was
cleaned up to allow the wiring chair to work on the network with ease. Also, a
server rack was built to accommodate our servers and switches.

Coffee Table

After the black coffee table in the
living room broke, the Delta Deuteron decided to build a new, sturdier table.
The new table is made from red oak and brings a new quality to the room. The top
of the table is a display case holding some of our Chi Phi treasures.

Back Patio Chairs

To add to the new back patio, the
Epsilon Deuterons made a set of patio furniture. The furniture is a collection
of chairs and benches in the style of Adirondack chairs.

Back Patio

During the 2007 Workweek, the Zeta
Deuterons completed their project of the back patio behind the annex. Before the
renovations, the back was a dirt patch with miscellaneous trash and detracted from
the atmosphere of the back yard. The area was cleaned up and flag stone was lay
down.

Milkroom Stairway

During spring break and work week, the Theta Deuterons replaced damaged drywall in the stairway leading from the dining room to the kitchen. They also added baseboards and painted the lower portion of the walls with Herculiner to protect against future damage.

Kitchen Shelves

The Iota Deuteron class has built new shelving units in the kitchen, to compliment the unit already built by Br. Chris Patton.

New Front Door

|
During the 2009 Workweek, a couple of the house's more useful Brothers built a new front door to replace our old one, which was no longer usable.
